General Steps to Follow on the Day of Training

 

Step -1: Make sure following Prerequisite

1.     You have registered for the DLI course and You have a Session Join Link with You.

            a.     The Link for DLI course registration is live from Tuesday of respective week.

            b.     We insist on registering the respective DLI course as soon as a registration link is       available and avoid last minute rush. Preferably register before 5.00 PM Friday.

            c.      Please make sure there is a stable internet connection at your end.

            d.     Check your web browser compatibility with Webex.

  2.     Check the System compatibility for the course (The same has been already put on the HPC Shiksha Portal) :

Step-2: You need to Join the session on time with the Webex link received in your mail after successful registration of the respective week’s DLI course.

Step-3: The respective Mentor will share the Link and Unique event Code of the respective DLI      for the Jupyter notebook Work-Place Login.

 

Note-1 : Generally Mentor Shares the Session Link and Event code with        a slide, 15 minutes before the session starts. So members will be able to proceed for the Jupyter Notebook work-place registration and launch. So It is recommended to Join the session early. (by 9.15 AM). If you miss the link & code somehow, Please check Webex chat for Unique Event Code. If you still don’t find it, you can ask the same to the respective mentor.

 

Note-2 : This code will be shared in a live session only and will not      be communicated via mail.

Step-4: You need to Login to Jupyter Notebook with given event code & complete the registration process with proper credentials (with same credentials used for prior registration process)

Step-5: Once you successfully complete the Step-4, you should be able to launch the respective  Jupyter Notebook Workplace.

Step-6: Follow the Guidelines provided by the respective mentor in the live session and complete the course within the time frame.

Important Points To be Noted :

    • If you are facing issue regarding login/connect to the session, then please crosscheck following
      • Check your browser : We recommend to use either Chrome or Firefox browser
      • Try alternate networks connection (e.g. mobile internet), if your Institute network is causing the issue.
      • Please make sure System compatibility : http://websocketstest.courses.nvidia.com/
      • Jupyter Notebook Troubleshoot : https://courses.nvidia.com/troubleshooting
    • We insist you try to complete the course within the time limit and Get the certificate on the training day itself, As mentors will be available for any queries. The respective Jupyter notebook work-place will be available till the next DLI.
    • All the courses has to be completed in the given time frame. Please join the DLI session latest by 9.30 AM on Saturdays.
    • All the courses will be conducted under instructor guidance. At the end of each course , an assessment is designed which when cleared will issue certificate. Those participants obtaining 6 or more course certificates, will be eligible for getting an additional certificate “CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE” from CDAC.
    • The communication channel for the Questionnaire will be available via slack channel
    • 5 days before You will get next DLI’s registration link via HPC Shiksha Portal only. Please keep in touch with HPC Shiksha Portal for latest updates !
    • Process : For Each DLI, Register on the given weblink, Link will be available on http://hpcshiksha.cdac.in Participant will receive a Webex link to their email to join the session once they register for the DLI
    • Session : Each DLI includes Hands-on sessions on cloud using Jupyter Notebook. Cloud instances will be provided as part of DLI. In the end, there will be an assessment. Post assessment certificates will be issued for each DLI. Details of the assignments will be shared during the DLI course.
